To add an email account to Outlook Express 5 or Outlook Express 6
1.In the Outlook Express 5 menus, choose 'Tools->Accounts':

2. Select 'Add->Mail' and enter the display name for the new account and click 'Next':

3. Enter the email address for the account and click 'Next':

4.Enter the incoming and outgoing mail server names. If there are no 'MX' records for the mail server, just enter the domain name (without the 'www' prefix). If there is an 'MX' record for the domain use that name instead (e.g. 'mail.mydomain.com'). Then, click 'Next':

5. Enter the full account name and password for the account. Be sure to use both the account name and the domain name in the 'Account name' field:

6. Click 'Finish'...we are almost done...

7. Next, select the account (fom the 'Tools->Accounts' menu) and click 'Properties':

8. Select the 'Servers' tab:

9. Check the 'My server requires authentication' box and click 'Apply' and 'OK'. Done!
