Overview

ISMail is a powerful yet easy-to-use SMTP/POP3/IMAP4 mail server for Windows^® PCs. Geared toward individual users, SOHOs, and small groups, ISMail can be setup quickly and operated with very little effort.

ISMail provides email service for multiple users connected to the Internet, or to a local area network (LAN). Each user can have one or more mail accounts. Adding and deleting mail accounts is easy, and each account can be unique, or part of a group (where many individual accounts gather messages for one 'group' account), or setup to forward messages to an entirely different email system.

ISMail keeps messages in the nearly unlimited storage space on the local hard drive. Messages may be kept indefinitely and accessed from anywhere at anytime, eliminating message deletion problems caused by using the same account from different computers (e.g. home, work, travel).

ISMail is in some ways similar to using ISP mail accounts, except that storage space and message size are not limited, and messages may be kept indefinitely. ISMail accounts may be used in addition to, or in place of ISP or other third party email services.

ISMail includes a number of features that make it easy to send, receive, and retrieve messages, while at the same time making unauthorized access difficult. An Anti-virus scanner can be used, and Anti-spam filtering is available.
