ISMail Pro can be easily and efficiently deployed on Windows hosting platforms.
The system features three (3) levels of system management access (server, domain, and user account), domain-wide account quotas, automated account setup, Webmail customization, and virtual hosting of multiple domains on a single IP address.
Server Management
Windows and web-based server management are used to setup, configure, and monitor operation of the servers.
Domain Management
Domain management may be delegated to domain owners by creating domain manager accounts.
Domain managers can check server status, and control the mail options for the domain. They can also setup, modify, or disable user accounts, establish account quotas (within the domain's pre-defined limits), and decide whether or not to allow users to create their own accounts. Additionally, domain managers can create content filters to for accounts which do not yet have these defined.
User Account Management
Users have access to account passwords, mail forwarding addresses, autoresponders, and account content filters.
Users can also download messages from other accounts ('POP3 download') through Webmail.
The Webmail login page banner and domain selection (all or single domain only) are configurable for each domain.
Through virtual hosting, ISMail Pro supports multiple domains on a single IP address.
To use virtual hosting, email reader programs must be configured with the complete account name for the Incoming mail server (e.g. 'user@domain.com', and not just 'user'). Webmail is automatically setup for this on system installation.
