Restore

Restore is used to retrieve information from a previous ISMail backup and install it into ISMail.

Restored information may include system and account configuration data, account messages, or both.

Caution: once a Restore operation is performed it can not be undone.

Performing a Restore:

To perform a restore operation:

1. On the 'Restore' tab, in the 'What to Restore' area, select either 'System and Account Configuration', 'Account Messages', or both.
2. If information for all domains on ISMail should be restored, select 'All Domains'. Otherwise, select 'Domains' and the domain for which to restore information.
3. In the 'Where to Restore From' area, browse to the directory that contains the backup information. When a backup directory with valid information is selected, the 'Restore Now' button will be highlighted.
4. Click 'Restore Now'.
