Web Server: Control
The Web Server, FTP Server, and IP Updater can be separately controlled.
The configuration and status of each is shown in the table. Each row of the table displays:
Server:
The name of the server.
Port:
Network port used by the server.
Service (Windows NT/2000 only):
Servers may be run either as applications or as Windows Services. The Service field indicates if the server is being run as a Windows Service. If not, then the server is being run as a Windows Application.
AutoStart:
AutoStart indicates if the server is stated when MiniPortal is run (if the server is run as a Windows Application), or if the server is started when the system is booted (if the servers is run as a Windows Service).
Status:
Status indicates the operating state of the server. The server may be Stopped, Stopping, Started, or Starting.
Control:
Controls indicates the operation that will be performed on the server by clicking the displayed button.
Note: since the Web Server must always be running to access the MiniPortal Administrator, it can only be restarted from the web browser interface.
Configuration:
Configuration indicates the configuration operation that will be performed on the server by clicking the displayed button. The server must be stopped in order to change the configuration.
