The Phorum plug-in supports the Phorum discussion board.
Features of Phorum include: multiple forums, multi-threaded topics, searching, automatic email notification, and administrative functions.
In addition to the Phorum software, the plug-in adds a MiniPortal Administrator menu to access the Phorum administrative functions, the Phorum discussion boards, and Phorum Help information.
The plug-in automatically installs Phorum, configures the web server for Phorum, and sets up a MySQL Phorum database.
User access to the Forums is with: 'http://127.0.0.1/phorum/' or using the domain name.
Administrative access to Phorum is with: 'http://127.0.0.1/phorum/admin/' or using the domain name. A MiniPortal Administrator account may be used to login to the Phorum Administrator.
The Phorum plug-in requires both the PHP plug-in and the MySQL plug-in to be installed and the MySQL server to be running before it can be used.
