The phpBB plug-in supports the phpBB discussion board.
Features of phpBB include: unlimited forums and posts, private or public forums, searching, automatic email notification, and administrative functions.
In addition to the phpBB software, the plug-in adds a MiniPortal Administrator menu to setup phpBB, and to access the phpBB administrative functions, discussion boards, and Help information.
The plug-in automatically installs phpBB and configures the web server for phpBB.
phpBB setup is done by starting the MySQL server and running phpBB 'Setup' with MiniPortal Administrator menus at: 'http://127.0.0.1/admin/' or using the domain name.
Administrator access is: 'http://127.0.0.1/phpbb2/' or using the domain name. Login and click "Go to Administration panel". Then configure phpBB for your system.
User access is: 'http://127.0.0.1/phpbb2/' or using the domain name.
The phpBB plug-in requires both the PHP plug-in and the MySQL plug-in to be installed and the MySQL server to be running before it can be used.
